SafeTalk Volunteers

KIC provides Safe Talk, a world-renowned child safety presentation, to area elementary schools.  The program uses role plays to teach children they always have the right to be safe, strong and free.  Facilitators perform the role plays and facilitate discussion with children on the issues of bullying and basic safety.   Most presentations are given during school hours. In order to work in the schools as a facilitator, we require an interview, two-day training and background check.
