Kids In Crisis Events

Please join us at an upcoming Kids In Crisis event

Kids In Crisis loves volunteers!  And from what we’ve heard, volunteers love Kids In Crisis, too.  We have volunteer opportunities throughout the year for individual adults, youth, groups, and families.

SafeTalk Volunteers (A)
We provide SafeTalk, a world-renowned child safety presentation, to area elementary schools.  The program uses role plays to teach children how to be self-advocate to be safe, strong and free.  SafeTalk volunteers are trained as facilitators to role play and initiate group discussion with children on the issues of bullying and basic safety.  Most presentations are given during school hours. SafeTalk volunteers must interview and attend training, and consent to a background check.
