Make a commitment to work directly with the children that live with us! Provide the extra attention and positive role-modeling that is crucial to the healing of children and teens in our temporary emergency shelter. In-House volunteers typically volunteer after 4 p.m. weekdays or on weekends. Examples of in house volunteer opportunities are: tutors, reading buddies, arts and crafts teachers, cooks. If you have a special skill or hobby you would love to share, tell us about it! To work directly with our children, we require an interview, one-day training and background check.
