Join our free Zoom virtual discussion on Thursday, August 20, from 7 – 8 pm with Jessica Hirsch, Co-Executive Director of OK to Delay and Jackie Chorney, Kids In Crisis SafeTalk program, and moderated by Denise Qualey, MSW, Kids In Crisis Managing Director of Crisis and Clinical Services.

During our free webinar series, Helping Kids Thrive, learn practical strategies from experts on how to balance technology use and build healthy digital habits for children.

Jessica Hirsch, Co-Executive Director (with Ariella Feldman) of OK to Delay, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization based in Greenwich, CT, with over 30 parent-volunteer-led chapters nationwide. Jessica and Ariella started OK to Delay in 2023 after taking the name over from another local mom team in Darien that was doing grassroots work on smartphones and children/tweens. In 2023, Jessica and Ariella made the organization an official 501c3, and started growing chapters around the country. She has a Master’s in Public Health from NYU and lives in Riverside with her husband and two daughters.

Jackie Chorney oversees the Kids in Crisis SafeTalk program, which teaches elementary school children how to recognize and respond to potentially dangerous situations, including bullying, online safety, strangers, and inappropriate touch. She was previously a corporate attorney in New York, and has served as Senior Legal Counsel to the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C., as well as Vice President for Business Development at Discovery Channel Interactive Networks.
