Youth Corps (for teens)
Youth Corps is a group of High School Volunteers from throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut, who are dedicated to furthering the Kids in Crisis mission by raising awareness via community events & advocacy efforts; hosting food & clothing drives; planning fun, creative activities for our youngest residents (up to age 13) & more!

Kids Corps (for children Grades K-8 and their families)
The Kids in Crisis Kids Corps provides elementary and middle school students with a range of opportunities to volunteer – solo or with a group – to support abused and neglected children throughout the area. Working individually, with their family, or in groups with friends, students can become a part of Kids Corps by utilizing any of the following opportunities:
Be a Dinner Hero
Work as a team to make a complete dinner for our residents (13-16 people), including a protein, vegetable and a starch. There are all kinds of menu ideas that Kids in Crisis can provide for this great activity for a family, scout troop or school group.
Collect For Kids
Get together with friends, classmates, teammates, church group or neighbors to collect much-needed supplies for Kids in Crisis residents! Hold a duffle bag drive and collect donations to purchase large and extra large duffle bags. Or, conduct a drive to collect traditional packaged foods, toiletries, clothing, pajamas or other items Kids in Crisis needs at that particular time.
Kids Helping Kids
Instead of giving goody bags at your next birthday party or bar/bat mitzvah, give a donation to Kids in Crisis. For each $5 donation, you will receive a card for personalization to give to each guest at the party. During the party, give invitees the card in lieu of a goody bag to let them know about the donation. To order, click here.
