The Ridgefield Triumph: TeenTalk’s Remarkable Success
In Ridgefield, the success story of our TeenTalk program stands as a testament to the difference we can make. This year, at Ridgefield High School, our counselors reached out and supported 82 teens, providing them with the guidance and care they needed. At Scotts Ridge Middle School, we touched the lives of 56 young people, and at East Ridge Middle School, an impressive number of 85 young people benefited from our services.
Facing the Future: Challenges and Opportunities
As we look ahead, we recognize the challenges and opportunities that await us. A 3% cost increase for our TeenTalk programs necessitates a call for increased giving to maintain and expand our impact. Our ambitious vision for 2024 includes growing our support and potentially launching a Kids In Crisis counseling program in Ridgefield’s elementary schools, contingent on your continued support and stabilized funding.
Exciting Developments on the Horizon
We are thrilled to announce the anticipated launch of the Lighthouse program in early 2024, specifically aimed at supporting LGBTQ+ youth and their allies in the Ridgefield area.
