Thank you for making this year’s Cards For Kids tournament our most successful yet!

With more attendees than ever—and an incredibly generous, high-spirited crowd—you helped raise an astonishing $130,000 for kids in need. Best of all, we can’t stop talking about how much FUN we had.
Proceeds from our three auction items are already at work helping children at SafeHaven, our emergency shelter for youth experiencing homelessness. Every $225 “REBUY” you made directly supports youth mental health through our TeenTalk program in schools.
We’re deeply grateful to our corporate sponsors for purchasing tables and showing their commitment to our mission. Special thanks to our friend and emcee Gary Dell’Abate for bringing energy and heart to the evening, and to Matt Remson, who bravely shared how Kids In Crisis impacted his life.
We also want to congratulate Cards For Kids committee member Alain Benzaken for winning his second Cards For Kids poker tournament!
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to spotlight the urgent challenges facing our youth, like online bullying, depression, domestic violence, and self-harm. Your support helps fund:
  • Our upcoming 24-hour texting Helpline
  • The free TLC Medical Clinic inside SafeHaven shelter
  • Expanded TeenTalk programs in schools

You are all an inspiration to us—and to the community we serve. Thank you for your generosity, your spirit, and your belief in brighter futures for every child.
