Matching Gifts Many companies will match the donations made by their employees and their spouses and retirees, combining the generosity of employee giving with corporate resources. A Matching Gifts Program allows employees to help determine how to spend a portion of the company's philanthropic resources. Please encourage your Human Resources or personnel offices to let your employees know that your company will match employee gifts to Kids in Crisis. There are many opportunities for your employees to get involved with Kids in Crisis. In addition to making individual gifts, employees may volunteer at either our Teen House or Crisis Nursery, our SafeTalk program, assist with administration, or serve on a committee.
Corporate groups are a great resource, helping us to organize special activities such as outings, fundraising events, or facilities upkeep.
Payroll Deductions Payroll deduction is another great way for companies to increase morale. For a given period of time, employees can be encouraged to deduct a certain amount from their paycheck to be donated to Kids in Crisis.

Corporate and Volunteer Opportunities There are many opportunities for your employees to get involved with Kids in Crisis. In addition to making individual gifts, employees may volunteer at either our Teen House or Crisis Nursery, with our SafeTalk Program. Volunteers are also sought for help with administration and to serve on a committee.
Corporate volunteer groups are also a great resource, helping us to organize special activities, including outings and recreational activities with children staying in our shelters. Please contact Kristen Tomasiewicz at 203-622-6556 or ktomasiewicz@kidsincrisis.org if you are interested in our Corporate Volunteer program.
